This is Lady Polgara in Fiskardo on the Ionian Island of Cephalonia
We are Anne-Marie and Graham Lush, a couple who have been sailing and cruising, with our family, for nearly 30 years.
We started our sailing and cruising on the East Coast, in a 26 foot Ecume de Mer, venturing across the North Sea to Holland as well.
We then relocated to the South Coast and expanded our horizons to France, the Channel Islands and the Scilly Isles, graduating en route to a 39 foot Beneteau Oceanis.
In 2004, we bought Lady Polgara, a 64 foot Bay Class cutter rigged ketch. We didn't plan to buy a big steel yacht, but she found us, we fell in love because she is beautiful and here we are, now based in the Peloponnese in Greece.
We are currently sailing in Greece and carrying on with the continual maintenance of a steel boat - we didn't quite know what we were letting ourselves in for when we bought Lady P! Friends and family continue to join us from time to time. In 2011 we plan to do lots of maintenance and not much sailing - Lady P is due some TLC!
